Requirements

In addition to the general qualifications required for admission to the gradate school, the Division requires that applicants should have:

  1. Graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields, normally with second class honours or higher, or an average grade of "B" or better in undergraduate courses; or
  2. Completed a course of study in tertiary educational institutes and obtained professional or similar qualificatuions equvalent to an honours degree; or
  3. Graduated with a first degree in other fields but having extensive computer-related experience.

All applicants must also fulfill the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Graduate School before being considered for admission.

Students who obtained a recognized professional qualification awarded in Hong Kong or an English speaking country are considered to have fulfilled the "English Language Proficiency Requirement". Please refer to the "Postgraduate Prospectus 2007-2008" for details.
