In addition to the general qualifications required for admission to the gradate school, the Division requires that applicants should have:

1. Graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields, normally with second class honours or higher, or an average grade of "B" or better in undergraduate courses; or
2. Completed a course of study in tertiary educational institutes and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree; or
3. Graduated with a first degree in other fields but having extensive computer-related content.

All applicants must also fulfill the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Graduate School before being considered for admission.
